Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports when she was fourteen years old. As well as BJJ classes, she also trained in boxing, wrestling, and kickboxing. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie stopped Ladd's winning streak in just 16 seconds. in the 3rd round on UFC on ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. In her place she took on Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. The fight ended in an unanimous decision.
