Sharon Yvonne Stone born 10th March 1958, to Dorothy Lawson, a accountant, and Joseph William Stone 2nd, who was a former tool and die maker and factory worker. Michael, Kelly, Patrick and Dorothy Lawson are her 3 siblings. Stone was regarded as an academically gifted as a child and began the second grade when she was five. Saegertown Senior High School, Saegertown Pennsylvania is where she graduated in 1975. Also, Stone competed and won at the Miss Pennsylvania beauty contest. Stone and her aunt moved to New Jersey to New Jersey to begin a modeling career in the year 1977. The two signed on with the Ford Modeling Agency after a few months.
