Catherine Tate

CatherineCatherine Jane Ford (born 5 December 1969) popularly referred to as Catherine Tate, is an English comedian, actress and writer. Her work on The Catherine Tate Show, which is a BBC sketch comedy series has been recognized with numerous accolades. She was nominated for seven BAFTAs as well as an International Emmy Award. Tate was Donna Noble's co-star in Doctor Who's Christmas special in 2006. She then reprised the role and was later the Tenth Doctor's companion on a regular basis in the fourth season of Doctor Who in 2008. [2] Following the popularity of The Catherine Tate Show, Tate appeared as Joanie Taylor ("Nan") in the BBC One comedy series Catherine Tate's Nan (2009-2015) as well as in the movie The Nan Movie (2022). Tate was cast in 2011 to play an appearance as Nellie Bertram on The Office, the U.S. edition of The Office. She played the role for a long time until the end of the series. [3] She played the role of Miss Sarah Postern in the BBC One sitcom Big School (2013-2014) and she voiced Magica De Spell in the animated series DuckTales (2017-2021). Tate was among six characters that performed in Hard Cell, a Netflix comedy series that she co-wrote along with her husband.
